Sapper Frederick Wade is commemorated on the Billericay Town War Memorial, High Street, Billericay, Essex. As my tribute to the Second World War generation I’ve uploaded as much information as I can find to under the tree BillericaysSecondWorldWar, to mark the 75th Anniversary of DDay this year. If anyone has a photo of Frederick I would be very grateful to share a copy please to give a face back to the name of this young man who died for our freedom and far from home. Remembered with honour in Billericay.
