Many years ago an old friend passed away, those of us who served with him had trouble letting people know as there was no quick way of communicating with each other.

So the first go out doing something was open up a msn page, this later moved onto our original web site and our face book page.

A few years ago the web site was refreshed. However we knew some time in the future we would outgrow what we had at the AGM in 2018 we agreed to move the site, modernise it, make it more profesional.

Here’s the result, great piece of work and something we can add to.

Cheers Gary O’Shea and Gonz Wright for taking this forward.

Can A Sapper “Jonathan James Frankum” added the role of honour?

He was a Sapper with the then 21 EOD SQD, MT Troop Lodge Hill around 1993.

He passed away in March the 9th 1993 while on a train exercise in Weymouth.

I don’t have access to his regimental number, but with research the branch could find it.

    Kind Regards.

    Gary Quinn.

Many years ago, as a child in Leeds, I helped shop for an old lady, Mrs Paver, who, by now a widow, continued to mourn her son who, I was told, died defusing a bomb. I suddenly found myself thinking of her – and by extension of him – and looked on this website. How poignant to find him there as Leonard Paver, see a photo of his grave. Thank you for the efficiency and skill involved in maintaining this site.
