Albert is also remembered in a book of remembrance in Saint Edward King and Martyr Church in Goathurst, Somerset where he and his parents were living at the time of his enlistment. His name is inscribed on the church’s lych gate which is Goathurst’s Memorial to those of its parishioners who gave their lives in two world wars.
