Son of William and Wilhemina Fordyce: Husband Mary Joyce Fordyce of Maltby. Died on the 7th August 1946. Aged 24. Buried at Maltby Burial Ground. Section D Row 2 Grave 27. Corporal J. Fordyce, Lieutenant G. Gaylor and Sapper A. Hurley all died at this incident. Mine clearance at Rattray Head northeast Scotland.
