Incident Details. Sapper L. Cotton, Corporal J.P. Coyne, Driver J.E. Harris, Sappers J.S. McWhinnie and G.E. Wareing also died at this incident. Killed when a V2 exploded in Holland. The unit when in UK was based at the Duke of Yorks Barracks, Chelsea.

Son of Arthur and Mary Jane Cotton of Shelfield, Staffordshire. Died on the 30th April 1945. Aged 19. Corporal J.P. Coyne, Driver J.E. Harris, Sappers J.S. McWhinnie and G.E. Wareing also died at this incident. Buried at Almelo General Cemetery, Netherlands Grave 12. Almelo General Cemetery.
