Son of Francis Julius and Mary Cooper of Dudley: Husband of Alice Cooper of Netherton, Dudley. Died on the 7th February 1945. Aged 41. Buried at Saint Andrew Churchyard, Netherton. Section 1 Grave 1308 On the 7th February 1945 Lance Sergeant J. Edwards and Sapper F.J. Cooper died whilst clearing mines in a coastal minefield at Filey. Details extracted from The Danger of UXB’s.
