Son of Owen and Anne Connor of Glasgow: Husband of Elizabeth Connor of Glasgow. Died on the 14th September 1945. Aged 34. Buried at Saint Peters Roman Catholic Cemetery, Glasgow. Section 17 Grave 1472. Note. Lance Sergeant J. Connor, Corporal W. King and Sapper J. Dallas also died at this incident. It is possible that the elements in the rocks affected the mine detectors making them unreliable. Mine clearance operations Peffer Sands.
