The Felix Fund is a small military charity providing welfare support and financial assistance to serving personnel, veterans, and their dependents for any military or SO15 (Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Unit) personnel, who have conducted or assisted with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Search duties.

2021 sees its 10th anniversary and to mark this occasion BFPS has collaborated with the Felix fund in the production of a commemorative cover to be issued on the 15th of September 2021.

The cover bears images that reflect the various roles carried out by EOD personnel. A Royal Mail Personal Smiler® stamp will be cancelled by the BFPS special handstamp 3237 which carries the Felix Fund logo.
Two versions will be for sale: Standard unsigned costing £9 each and a limited edition signed by the Honorary Colonel of 101 Regiment EOD & S Royal Engineers, Jools Holland OBE DL, composer, pianist, bandleader and broadcaster, costing £18 each.

All covers include an information insert and will be presented in a protective cellophane sleeve making a very collectable souvenir of the Funds anniversary.
The covers can be ordered from the BFPS online shop (www.bfps.org.uk) or by post by sending a cheque (payable to ‘BFPS CIC’) to BFPS, The Old Post Office, Westerlea, Links Place, Elie, LEVEN, KY9 1AX.
